Youth Contest Winners

Youth Contest Winners

TSCRA hosted several contests for our cattle raisers youth. Youth competed by age groups – 5 to 8 years, 9 to 13 years and 14 to 18 years – in three categories: Art, Photography or Essay. All visual entries were displayed at the convention and attendees voted for People’s Choice for each medium. Cash prizes will be dispersed to the top 3 placers in each age category.

Subject of the art and photography submissions were original pieces depicting cattle, horses or the ranching way of life, while the essay was relevant to answering this years question: “Why is the ranching way of life important and how can you help preserve it?”
