Holli is the Assistant Director of Emergency Management for the Texas Animal Health Commission (TAHC). She worked in public health for seven years prior to starting at the commission. She has a Bachelor’s degree in animal science and a Master’s degree in epidemiology from Texas A&M University. Her major duties involve local planning with animal issues committees, disease outbreak planning efforts and emergency response to disasters. Holli served as the Plans Section Chief in the TAHC Animal Response Operations Coordination Center during Harvey and has responded to several other local incidents involving animals. Holli has also served on a few local animal disease outbreaks and continues to help build and strengthen the emergency response capabilities of the agency.
