Mr. Bevers owns Ranch KPI LLC, a ranch management consulting company. He also holds an appointment with the King Ranch® Institute for Ranch Management with Texas A&M University – Kingsville as a Practitioner in Ranch Economics. After finishing a tenure of 27 years, Mr. Bevers retired in 2016 as a Professor and Extension Economist from the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service. He was awarded Professor Emeritus and Extension Specialist status in April 2017 by the Board of Regents of the Texas A&M University System.
Bevers received his B.S. in Agricultural Education from Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma and his M.S. in Agricultural Economics from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.
Bevers specializes in utilizing Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to evaluate ranch management information systems for the purpose of ranch accounting, ranch analysis, and finding ranch efficiencies.
He and his wife, Tina, have two children; Dana who lives with them and Jana who is married to Jonathan Ramirez and lives in Vernon, Texas. They have two grandchildren, Natalie and Nathan. All of them are involved in Broken B Cattle, the family farming and ranching operation.
