In Texas, more than 80% of ranch calves and yearlings sold at livestock
markets are purchased by livestock dealers. Livestock markets and dealers are
uniquely positioned to evaluate livestock and help producers increase and capture value
from their cattle. In this unique session, attendees could hear the perspectives and
opinions of the people buying their animals and listen to what makes their cattle worth
more or less at sale time.
